Random thing…

So this long weekend I had been dog sitting for my mom. The dog was really good and it felt amazing to be around a dog again. I forgot how comforting it was to fall asleep with a dog on your bed and wake up with them curled up beside your leg.

Anyways! Thanks to the cuties distractions though I ended up nearly forgetting to take my pills twice and did forget last night. While I KNOW that the meds would still be in my system after one night… I’ve ended up with a headache all day. It was also probably caused partly by stress but I think it does help show more that these pills help. I didn’t even realize I’d forgotten till today when I got the headache.

While dogs are very cute… she kinda messed up my routine.

Alright, so it’s been a while more of grinding in Light Platinum. I’ve gotten four badges now and my team has grown. Some have evolved, some are new but all are stronger. XD I enjoy doing these updates once in a while.

Today sucked.

Bah, today was one of those days that I wish I had stayed in bed all day.

First annoying thing is currently it hurts to blink. >.> Fuck styes, they are annoying as hell and working with one is frusterating cause right now the eye with the syte seems to have trouble focusing as quickly as my fine eye.

Second, I saw my dad today. For those who havn’t seen my last few twitters, my dad is in the hospital. Nothing new for my dad but two days ago he was suffering from SERIOUS pain in his stomach area, they realized it was his appendix and shipped him up here to the city. Yesterday morning he has surgery to get it removed, it hadn’t burst but it was leaking.

Today I went to visit him in the hospspital before work with my grandma and uncle. Dad… didn’t look good. I mean he always looks bad in a hospital, and he did have surgery yesterday, but he still looked bad. He was in a LOT of pain, unable to really eat anything and… When we were talking to him a doctor came over to him, and said some things about how tommorrow they were gonna check on his stomach. Turns our he has been coughing up something that they are worried might be blood.

Ya, dad didn’t tell us that. He wouldn’t have, we learned it from the doctor. He got really upset after that and he was exaused after the short visit so we left. But… ya… He just didn’t look good. At least he is here in the city which has better doctors. But working with dad on my mind is… difficult.

I’m not looking forward to tommorrow.

So I got a new phone…

And I’m so happy I have it now! It’s shiny, not a piece of shit (so far), it can actually do stuff besides pocket dial people, it can go on the internet WITHOUT HAVING A STUPID MICRO BROWSER, I can look at pretty images, and best of all, I CAN GO TO TUMBLR ON MY PHONE! XD; Can you tell I love this place? First thing I did when I got the phone and learned a bit how to use it, download the tumblr application. It’s just like when I got my 3DS and the first website I went to on it’s browser was Tumblr.

Oh, and I can go on twitter with this phone too (instead of just sending a message and being unable to properly see all my twitter messages).

Did I mention it was shiny yet?

Can you tell I’m very happy to have a new phone?

Even though my dad was an ass when I was getting the phone (I had to get his permission since he pays for my phone bill, which is the only way he has ever helped me out since I moved to the city three years ago) and he got me so pissed and upset I nearly broke down (Seriously dad you can be an ass and you seem to ENJOY making UNEEDED DRAMA and continually forgetting I’M FUCKING 21 YEARS OLD AND I MAKE MY OWN CHOISES!).

So yes. Good day.

Also, Aali, considering my phone hasn’t proven to be a piece of shit yet maybe finally our texts will be properly recived and sent by our phones instead of the mess of a failure we’ve dealt with until now!

My phone is shiny.

And I’m in a good mood and was productive today.

And… I need sleep.

Headaches… Bah

You know the feeling of your head hurting just before you get the headache? kinda light headed, an annoying pain that gets worse when you stand?

I’ve been dealing with that for two days now. Ya. Most of yesterday I had this, went to bed and woke up with it still bothering me and even not it’s still not going away. The perscription I got still is new„ I was told it would take a while to get fully into my system. But today I took an Advil (after phoning the pharmacy to make sure that was okay with the prescription) and the advil hasn’t made it go away!

Seriously wtf?! Why do I have to deal with this? I can function mostly fine with this kinda annoying pain but… it’s annoying! Sleeping last night didn’t get rid of this, a nap this afternoon didn’t get rid of this! I’ve been drinking water, I’ve had full meals.

This better be gone by tommorrow morning before I need to go to work. Do you realize how fucking frusterating it is to deal with this for two of the three days I’ve had off?!

And again this makes me wonder… I can function fine with this annoying pain. Really if I don’t say anything you wouldn’t know I’m dealing with this. How would this feel to someone who hasn’t been dealing with a fuck ton of headaches for… eleven, almost twelve years! That’s right TWELVE FUCKING YEARS.

DAMN IT THESE MEDS BETTER FUCKING WORK ONCE I’VE BEEN TAKING THEM FOR A WHILE!

Life Update

Well I had an appointment with a neuologist today. Have to admit I was worried about what he might tell me.

So he asked me a bunch of questions and did a couple simple tests, I was actually in his office for an hour as he kept asking more thing. I explained everything, the fainting spells and all the symptomes I got. The headaches, how long I’ve had them and where most of the pain is. After talking for an hour he left for ten minutes to speak to another doctor then they both came back to explain things.

The spells and headaches are not any kind of seizure (my biggest fear with this appointment). What they belive is the problem is pretty much (with my fainting spells)… my body can’t handle standing for too long, and if I’m sitting or laying too long he things blood pools in my legs and when I stand it causes the lightheadness. My blood pressure is fine so that isn’t a cause. Suggestions for me on that were to learn my limits, drink lots of water and reconize symptoms. Things i’ve already done though my job makes this kinda a problem. I stand for two hours at a time at a till.

On the headache side, he thinks since I get them so often what I should try doing is taking medicine every day. A small dossage, but he said that if I can get these headachesunder control it might be another step in ridding myself of the spells. He also told me that this probably won’t be a permanent thing with the spells. I’m still young and as I get older they might go away. Which is a good thing to hear.

The meds are good ones he said, barely any side effects. One side effect I might get might actually be helpful to me. He explained they might make me sleepy, and for those who know me I have trouble falling asleep. On average two hours to fall asleep. So by taking a pill before bet it should help with that too.

So ya, all around a good appointment. Gonna get the medication tommorrow (there is a pharmacy where I work, hopefully they arn’t too expensive) and the doctor said that he wanted to see me again in three months to check in on how I’m doing (Which impressed me and my mom). Hopefully this helps me get my headaches under control and get rid of the fainting spells.

Just… some pictures as an update. Hard to belive yesterday there was a four story tall apartment building here… Also took a couple videos but my camera is rather old and video is bad quality. Oh, where I’m standing across that parking lot with my back agenst? My apartment building.

Life Update cont.

Again this is a message you can skip if you want. It’s for my friends so they have an update on the post I made last night.

Life Update

This is mainly a message to my RL friends who might see the news or something like that. Wolf, Skitz, Aali and others… yes.

Back from doctor…

So I went to the dotcor and told him everything… and he seemed rather conserned about the spells I’ve been having and my headaches. Welt to the hospital to get some blood taken which was fine besides the fact they took more then normal cause of the different tests the doctor requested.

I also got an ecg done cause doc was worried that the spells might have something to do with my heart. I’ll also have to book a Holter ecg which will be… blah. I’d rather not have some machine hooked up to me for a day but he wants to see if my heart rate changed when a spell happens.

Besides that he also plans for me to have a ct scan (see if there is something wrong with my head which is causing the headaches and spells) and I also will see a Neurologist some time and she will try and figure out if these problems could be caused by a seizure.

So ya… no answers at this point but at least the doctor seems to be taking this all seriously. I should get the results of the blood tests and ecg by this time next week or if I’m lucky by friday.
