So today my body seems to enjoy making me feel like shit. The inside of my ear hurts which is making me dizzy and gave me a headache. The combination of those is making me nausious and to top it of my ankle continues on its streak of making every step I take hurt. Fuck you life… and I still have an hour and a half of work… and I work at 8am tommorrow morning… fuck.

This guy at work…

Amusing thing that happened at work. There’s this guy, let’s just call him dumbass (cause that’s all he is), he is a fricken IDIOT. The guy can’t count, doesn’t take his job seriously, screws up everything he does, did I mention he’s a supervisor? Want to know how much he lacks counting ability? Lotto hasn’t been balanced since he started, unless it was a day he didn’t work. He’s been here two months.

Random thing…

So this long weekend I had been dog sitting for my mom. The dog was really good and it felt amazing to be around a dog again. I forgot how comforting it was to fall asleep with a dog on your bed and wake up with them curled up beside your leg.

Anyways! Thanks to the cuties distractions though I ended up nearly forgetting to take my pills twice and did forget last night. While I KNOW that the meds would still be in my system after one night… I’ve ended up with a headache all day. It was also probably caused partly by stress but I think it does help show more that these pills help. I didn’t even realize I’d forgotten till today when I got the headache.

While dogs are very cute… she kinda messed up my routine.

I havn’t had a sunday off since the 5th of Febuary and I havn’t had a saterday off since the 10th of March.

Actual Good Work Update!

Wow this is odd, I’m actually posting stuff about work here that isn’t a rant! (omg sign of the end of the world!)

So, tonight was the first night I worked till 11:30pm. Aka I had a closing shift. Right now I’m being trained how to close, which is something supervisers do. Not only that but for the week of May 6th to 12th I’m working a full 40 hours! No one has said anything about this so at the moment I don’t know if this is a one week thing or if I’ve actually been moved up to full time. My hour count is also at 940 hours, once I hit 1000 hours I get a raise!

So yes, things seem to be going well! YAY!

Work is stupid

So work is trying to get rid of the cadbury chocolate easter eggs that are left. There were a LOT left over from after easter. So right now they are ten cents a piece.

Problem?

Our tills don’t have a quantity button.

Which means that if people come and buy say… oh ONE HUNDRED EGGS (yes this happened) we have to scan an egg one hundred times (not kidding).

If work is gonna be an ass and take away the quantity button then the boss who made that choise should come downstairs and stand at a till scanning an egg over and over again and watch the line get longer as he works.

BAH!

Seems these work ranty things are normal now…

Guess what, your in Canada you idiot!

Just a mini work rant. I’m just… really tired of stupid customers. Today at the start of my shift a guy came through, getting a few things. When it was time to pay he waved his card a little before moving to swipe it. I could see it was a Visa, and since it had no chip I had to swipe it after checking signature.

After taking the card and swiping it he said ‘I want cash back’. And I pointed out that it isn’t possible with credit cards. He then snapped at me like I was stupid saying ‘it’s a bank card’. By then the transaction had gone through with the VISA setting. Please note if it was really a debit it wouldn’t have gone through with the ‘visa’ setting. The tills are picky like that.

So I point out to him it’s a visa, thinking that maybe he gave me the wrong card and missed the three times I said ‘Visa’ to him. He again snaps at me and says it’s not a visa it’s a bank card. He then pulls out another visa card and said that only that one was a visa credit card. And I just look at him confused and say that they are both credit cards.

He then snaps at me and says ‘In America this is a bank card and this is a credit card.’ It took a lot of self control to now snap at him and say ‘THIS IS CANADA YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE’.

Seriously, I don’t give a shit what they are in America. You are in CANADA and your rude, disrespectful and arrogant attitide made me want to push you in the face.
