I hate being sick…
Felt like I was getting sick yesterday. Woke up sick but it was too late to call in sick to work (not enough notice for me to feel comfortable calling). Was planning to work full shift today but tell them that I wouldn’t be coming in tommorrow. Due to tommorrow being the staff christmas party though there would be no one to cover me… so seems like they decided to send me home early today so I could recover.
Nice thing about where I work, buying tea, fruit and juice in the store before I leave. So now I’m at home, waiting for medicine to kick in so I can sleep.
Also… one thing that does annoy me with work… having a staff christmas party that not everyone can attend. >.> At least with my old jobs they actually closed the store for the night so everyone could go. Here that doesn’t happen… and I would have liked to go to the christmas party (though considering I’m sick I wouldn’t have gone but still…)
